Making time to blog can be quite a challenge, especially during the Summer since kids are home from school. I find I work best early in the morning or late in the evenings when the kids are asleep, so I can have peace and quiet to think. Otherwise, I cannot formulate a single coherent thought to type.

Blogging is a job believe me. We have done one big blog goal already this year and we are looking for new ideas and goals. Writing them down and makes it happen.

Summers are actually easier for me to blog because we do a lot of things – so it’s easy to find topics. Also, I am off from work, and while I am watching my kids, I have free time while they are at the pool to work on my blogging.

Oh man! Blogging can be tough sometimes!! It gets easier once you find a flow… For example: every Sunday is your day to write content for the week or month. And then Monday mornings with when you post. It has definitely helped me. Helps your SEO too when you are consistent!

So many great tips! And for someone like me, my blog IS my career. So treating it as such is incredibly important. I block off certain times of my day that is 100% dedicated to work and then I have more flexible blocks throughout the day along with blocks that solely for family. It helps me so much so that I know everything is getting done and everyone is getting the love and attention they need throughout the day. And scheduling out as much as I can in advance helps tremendously as well.
